Rap gegen Rassismus

Run the Jewels

… we shot this video only a few weeks before the pandemic hit with no clue as to what the future held. the fact that we got the chance to do it is damn near miraculous in hindsight. in conceptualizing the video with our friends Brian and Vanessa Beletic we imagined the world on the day that the age old struggle of class was finally over. a day that humanity, empathy and community were victorious over the forces that would separate us based on arbitrary systems created by man. this video is a fantasy of waking up on a day that there is no monetary system, no dividing line, no false construct to tell our fellow man that they are less or more than anyone else. not that people are without but that the whole meaning of money has vanished. that we have somehow solved our self created caste system and can now start fresh with love, hope and celebration. its a dream of humanity’s V-DAY… and the party we know would pop off. love, RTJ

WITH LOVE, HOPE AND CELEBRATION

We are in the age of reality but some are still in mythology / We are in the age of science and technology but some are still in Antiquity / When we can’t face reality we let go of clarity / Some latch on to vanity others into insanity / Some get vision start to preach religion / But they can’t make decision when it comes to a fight / And can’t make decision when it comes to your rights mon! /

We are in the age of reality but some are still in mythology / We are in the age of science and technology but some are still in Antiquity / But when they have gone off line they’re not living for your time / Cause them say they get sign and now they’re blind in the eye to the light of the work and the search within and at the dark of the moon they’d rather shout about sin instead of fight to win mon!

This is the age of decision so make we let go religion / This is the age of decision so make us let go division / This is the age of science and technology so make we let go Me-cology always relevant; a shining , clear-headed, beacon of rational humanity. ‚make me whole with clarity‘.  / Make we whole with clarity Make me whole with clarity.Reality Poem
